Acorn Time Short Film

This project was the longest running assignment, taking five weeks to create a storyboard, animatic, rough animation, and the resulting finished animation. The animation uses expressive timing, smooth motion, and fun sound design to bring humor and personality to a simple setup.
In the film, the ball character narrowly escapes being crushed by a giant falling acorn, only to be comically blindsided by a second acorn flying in from the right. The impact is delivered in exaggerated slow motion, adding to the comedic payoff. The short showcases my focus on clear character movement, timing-based storytelling, and using sound to heighten the humor and rhythm of the scene.
